just a quick introduction and a hello from Ireland.
I have recently purchased a 1976 Daimler Sovereign 4.2l Vanden Plas.
Running and driving but with a known blown cylinder head gasket which will be the first thing that will require attention, and no doubt a long list of other jobs to be completed after that but very much looking forward to the "challenge".
I have done a few cylinder head gasket replacements in the past, including chain driven double overhead cams but this will be my first on this make/model engine.
I'll do my best to keep the questions to a minimum and use the search facility as much as I can but apologies in advance if I ask already asked or silly questions.
