Default P160 three-cylinder future owner

Hello all!

We pulled the trigger on a new EU spec E-pace, delivery summer time, and are completely new to the brand. It will have the P160 three cylinder(!!!!!) engine, because it is, essentially, a family car for round-and-about trips and this saves huge cash in purchase taxes in Belgium. It will have the new Pivi Pro system too.

Soon I will post some questions, because I'm really curious how other new owners like/hate the new P160 'power'-plant. Also, how the Pivi Pro is working for you with the remote app.

Clearly, despite deciding to get this for my wife, I am slightly skeptical about the 3 cylinder choice....

Take care!
Siepel

Welcome to the Forums.

I have NO idea on that engine.

Members in you local area may be better versed with it.
Also the E Pace Tech Section would be well worth a visit.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forums siepel,

It's the future but I'll be watching the early adopter's experiences before giving up my V8.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/e-pace-103/ to the E-Pace forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, Siepel,
I rode around San Francisco in a 3-cylinder Geo Metro hatch-back once, Not Bad actually. I was surprised it had so much pep.
