Just thought I'd say hello

Come from a family where my dad was involved in motorsport and worked in the motor industry most of his life. I followed suit and have been in the industry for the last 22 years.

Currently work mainly with Lexus on writing new vehicle training and currently formulating Pan European minimum dealer standards

Owned a varied list of cars including Dolomite Sprints, BMW 328i Sport, Golf V6 4 Motion, Alfa GTV V6, Westfield SEven, Grinnall Scorpion, Saab 9-5 Aero, Corrado G60 but next Saturday will see me picking up my first Jaguar - an S Type R

My dad always dreamed of running Jaguars and when he retired he treated himself to an XJ40 which was followed by an X300, he'd be really happy to see me following in his footsteps

Next Saturday cannot come soon enough but driving Lexus RC F's this week will help

Good day Andy, looks like you had an amazing childhood growing up around cars and owning so many off them. I too have an STR and it's the best car for the money, paid $20,000 USD after taxes and warranty and all, which seemed quite fair considering the mileage 65k Mi and its performance. Have owned the car for 6 months now and have no regrets with the purchase, I am currently interested in one of Mr. Avos' TC S/C kits but have not yet been able to contact him, but I must say im sure you will enjoy your new STR.
