Default New UK member Hello

Good morning all, from the UK. This is a bit of a re intro as my last post was about 8 years ago!
Reason being I inherited my late Mothers '98 Daimler and at the time had no time to sort it so it got put in storage. Turns out it had a dead fuel pump which I didn't have time to fit (through the parcel shelf).
Long story short it sat in a shipping container for 8 years until recently. I'm trying to get to back on the road.
I've done the pump and sorted a new alternator and a stuck brake light switch so it's a runner but with some codes.

I'll post about them on the relevant thread but having spent the last few weeks reading everything I can about throttle bodies and sensors this definitely seems to be the place to come for expert info!

Anyway Hello all and thanks in advance.

Will.

Hello, Will,
Sometimes it takes a while to work through a loss like yours was. It's good you've come out the other side now, and you're ready to get your mother's car back on the road. I'm sure she would be pleased.

Welcome back to the forums from ElinorB.

Ah that's very kind, yes bit of a way of reconnecting I think, keep finding bit's of her stuff in it which is nice. (That and a lot of rusty earth points!)

Of all of them it probably gives me the least grief, 6 volts, maybe half a dozen wires and 4 wheels, that's about it!
Still working it hard 75 years on.

Hired a 300c on a Scottish holiday once but sadly not with a Hemi, great motor, felt like a gangster.
