Hi All,
I bought my Jag about two months ago and have been on another forum. Sadly they do not seem overly friendly and I have found this forum so hopefully a little better !

I have a 1997 XJ Executive which I think is also called an X300 but correct me if I'm wrong.
It is a 3.2 straight six in dark green and rides like a floating carpet.
It does have a stalling issue at the moment as well as a saggy head lining and rip in the drivers seat bolster.

Will try and post some pictures if I can work it out.

Cheers

Maybe the other forum was having an off day, Stu.
At any rate, we're a friendly bunch here but we can also be serious if the situation calls for it.

Welcome from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Scorpio stu,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. We specialise in 'friendly' here so you should have no problems.

I can see you have already found your way to the X300 tech forum so there's no need fr a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-68/
to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Not available on taptalk but there is an Android app which is also available from Apple.

Look for IB (Internet Brands) Automotive Group
