Default New to using Forums

Hello. I'm new to this whole forum thing. I found a thread that addresses my exact situation and am looking forward to finding some answers. I don't fully trust my local shop as Jaguars are very sparse here in Montana.

I've only owned my Jaguar a couple years and a simple wheel bearing issue has morphed into a larger and needlessly complex project. I thoroughly enjoy my X-Type and am excited to get it back on the road.

Thank you for providing this great resource.

Yeah, I'll Bet Jaguars are sparse! I grew up in Montana, and if you bring in anything but a Ford or Chevy (or John Deere) they get all nervous and itchy and start backing toward the door. Unless you find an independent mechanic who Loves a challenge you're Far better off working on it yourself, as it sounds like you've already learned.

One of our Mods will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where you can find answers to your questions and directions how to fix just about anything on your Jaguar.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum jknable,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link US Central - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
