Default New from Washington State

Hi
My wife and I are from near Seattle in Washington State. New to the forum, but not to Jags. Over the years, have had several, from an old 63 XKE that I restored, through a couple XJS's, and XJ6 and now, a new to us 2000 XKR convertible. So new in fact that we haven't even picked it up yet. Its kind of burgundy with tan and has just under 80,000 miles on it. Engine is solid but needs a few things. Body and interior are about a 9 out of 10.

I've always worked on our own stuff and expect to do so on this one. Fortunately it won't be my daily driver so I've got time.

Other than car stuff, we spend lots of time on the water in Puget Sound and I built and race a top fuel Harley in my spare time.

Looking forward to lots of good information here and eventually hope to contribute.

Welcome Toni!

Be sure to check out the Pacific Northwest section! If you get your XKR in time, we have group drive to Leavenworth on the 27th! Would be a great time for you and the wife, as well as a chance to meet a group of jag lovers to show off your baby!

Vince
