Default New XJ8 owner

Hi,
I just purchased a 2004 XJ8 from another forum member (harvest14 aka Jeff). My Volvo 240 caught fire in February, and as much as I liked the car, I just couldn't get excited about buying another one. I've long wanted a Jag, so I decided it was time to finally get one.

The car has been very well maintained and is exceptional cosmetic condition for its age. Jeff was extremely helpful coordinating the purchase and it was a pleasure meeting him and and wife. Mileage is a bit high (154K), but I believe the car was a very good value.

Thanks Graham and Elinor. I'll check into adding a signature file to my profile. By the way, my youngest son is named Graham. It's a fairly uncommon name here in the US.

Welcome.

A 240 to an XJ8 would be a quantum leap??

Well done.
