Al, welcome to JF. I drove a '72 VW Superbeetle for 7 years so I can relate. Good to have you on board.

Welcome Al,

The 'what is this and where does it fit' questions usually get a good response so you've come to the right place.

I had a 'jeans' Beetle for a few months in the 80's. Bright orange with denim trim so not hard to miss.

Graham

Cheers for the responses guys

I won the parts about a year ago at an auction. I am training to be a watchmaker & went to an auction of a watchmakers estate, he was also a classic car collector, mostly classic citroens, but he had an old Jag too.
In a lot i bought (for a whopping £5, it was most of a shed :lol i found a 4 piece bumper, a front grille, a handbrack cable/lever, a steering wheel, and headlights. They are all in NOS condition too

Anyways, enough babbling lol, i will go & take some pics.

Thanks again guys

Try the general tech section and then if we can get a handle on them it can be moved to the right spot.
