I don't have a Jaguar (yet), but I have been seriously considering a Mk2 as a next project, so I'm here doing some research.

I'm no stranger to vintage cars, although my experience with British cars is limited at best. My wife has owned a 1958 and a 1959 Morris Minor and I did some minor work on them, but I emphasize the "minor" (no pun intended).

I've saved and customized several cars including (but not limited to) a 1951 Chevrolet Bel Air, 1959 Bel Air, 1963 Corvair Monza, and a 1965 Ford Econoline which I stuffed a much larger engine into, then had a bit of a mishap drag racing (still fixing that!). I've also owned and worked on a 1967 Volvo 122s and a 1973 VW Karmann Ghia in case you think I'm stuck on one side of the pond.

I'm in the Chicago area.

Here are some pics to make that read worthwhile.
