Newbie
Hi All, I'm new here so please be gentle.
Glad to have a Jag again and quite a lot better than the S types I used to have in the 70's (wish I had them now though)
Never thought I'd get an XJ6, but when I discovered the X350's had alloy bodies, I was sold. My brother has the 3.5 XJ8 and has been saying I ought to get one for years. They are such incredibly good value and if you can get a low mileage example, I think they will retain a lot of the current value. It's also HUGE, but not too much bigger than my poor old Mk3 Mondeo Estate load lugger, so not too much of a surprise.
I only do about 5K miles a year in the 'proper car', about the same in my MG TF160 and the rest on the train. Bought the 2003 XJ6 3.0 V6 last week and I'm delighted! Dark blue (Indigo I think) and 54K miles with complete annual servicing in the book.
Anyway, glad to have joined and see you all in the forum
Best regards,
Phil Greenwood

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Check the Jaguar label on the passenger side for the for the 3 letter paint code:

Indigo Blue is JJX.
I can see you've already found your way to the X350 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Thanks for the welcome and advice Graham.
The paint code is JHM which after a bit of searching seems to be Pacific Blue.
I just have to sort out a few niggles - poss compressor (parts already bought), partially seized folding mirrors, upper front ball joint and both rear shocker bushes. Not sure where to get parts from yet, but I gather the bushes are available.
Thanks again, Phil.
