Newbie with a 2005 XK8 Silver & Carbon 4.2S
Hey all,
Just joined today. Bought my 2005 XK8 last month. Photos in my gallery area. She's a pretty pristine 2005 XK8 in Smoke Silver, with a carbon dashboard and white stitched black leather interior, grey alloys, smoked indicators and all the usual Jaguar toys on the run out Victory models (except navigation, which I'm happy about as I much prefer the chrome edged dials!). Absolutely love my new Jaguar and can't wait to meet other owners in London, UK soon.
The car is in great condition, aside from the minor issue of a seat module requiring repair (recline doesn't work on the drivers side). Would love to do a straight swap out. If anyone has one for sale, let me know!
Take care,
Carl.

Every car's a money pit, it's just some are deeper than others...

Welcome to the forum Carl,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
The usual problems with seat modules are cracked traces on the circuit board. Not a difficult repair.

Hello, Carl,
I Luv your tag line, "Every car is a money put," etc. Too Troo!! The automobile is the Most expensive item on the Disposable Goods list! Except for those of us who get fun from keeping Antiques on the road.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
