Hello, Nikki,
What a neat gift! Even if it does have a few problems (it's 17 years old after all), there are still Millions of them on the road and parts are easily found.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the Forums.

Lucky girl.

The X Type section has heaps of answers for all sorts of issues.

Your UK car will be different to teh USA spec cars, but that is not hard to side step as needed.

Might pay to add the engine size (2.1/2.5/3.0), and trans (Manual/Auto) to your Sig, via the CP tab at the top, that way relevant answers just flow.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forums Nikki,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
