Hi Guys, I'm new to this forum and was able to buy a very beautiful 1988 XJ40 the first owner. It's being shipped as we speak, so no technical questions yet. I read a lot about these cars and bought the best one I could find and will take it from there. I'm a retired doctor and already 40 years+ car collector and restorer. Did a lot of Vintage Volvo's and this is my second Jag, got a 1986 XJ SC V12 from Calgary Canada and just love the ride and looks of it. The XJ40 will be my daily driver and I follow my Grandfather's footsteps. Hope this Jag will behave and if not ... I'll be back 88 XJ40 59K miles
