Nice TATA
Well Just starting off on the right foot...TATA did it right with these cars..
Hi Folks..I've been a long time JAG owner..I had from new, a 2003 X Type 3.0L (British Racing Green) and it lasted and ran perfect (with extra care and preventive maintenance of course) up until I traded it with 98,000 miles for a 2011 Lincoln MKZ AWD 3.5L in Aug of 2011..The dealer sales dude bought the Jag for himself..so it was one of the few good ones...The Lincoln was awesome, but it wasn't a Jaguar..I Liked the looks of the XF when is came out shortly after TATA took over from Ford in 2009..But I wasn't going to rush to get the first year model or second year or even the third year..I waited and then I seen a 2012 with 2K miles on it (British Racing Green) and the price was right with the 6 year 100,000 mile warranty and 4 years of free oil changes and all maintenance...Long story short..LOVING IT!!!!
I've been lurking the XF forums and learned a lot about the car so far..One thing I do hate though..Is that I can't change the oil myself anymore, like I'm use to doing..but I'll figure something out..or Maybe JAG will relax their warranty restrictions after the first 4 years of ownership..
Anyway, looking forward to learning more and enjoying the fellowship of the car..
See cars mentioned below...
2003 Jag X-Type

2011 Lincon MKZ

And now the 2012 XF

Oh BTW..I put OE Splash guards on and they work perfect and look awesome..

Graham..I understand how it works..I don't get the EDIT button on any of my posts, even immediately after I've post...Some forums I realize gives you about 30 minutes to an hour to edit your Own post before the feature disappears..It doesn't present itself to me on MY POSTS at all here, at least not yet..
Not a big deal, I was wondering if any of the other newbies have this issue?

Surprise, surprise..I bet this is the reason for the no EDIT button..I haven't been here for 3 days yet....Pays to read a little..
I copied this from the sticky at the top of this section for New comers..
