Default Nissan nut into Jaguar nut

Hello all,

my name is misael, 23 years old. i live in slc utah. i been a nissan fanatic. i work for a nissan dealership as a parts driver. my first car at 16 was a 1990 240sx which i still have to this day. but owned many other nissans since then. till recently i started to wonder off and dip my toes into other makes.

i got my 2001 s-type 4.0 in march have been enjoying it very much since. nothing really done to it other than window tint. been trying to research and have lots of questions but ill first search this forum before asking.

as for plans want to keep it simple and clean for awhile and not sure how fellow jaguars feel about lowering but i want to lower mine. so far only seen two choices and the choice i really want (coilovers) seems to be only one brand from what i seen. i dont wanna rely to airbags. right now it has some 17x7.5 wheels dont think they are oem but look like. i wanna get some real wide wheels to basically stance it. i bought some 19x8.5 mesh wheels for 100 bucks lol. need to get wheel adapters since wheels are 5x112.

i will post pictures when i get on my computer at home. hope to learn alot more about these great cars.

Welcome to the forum fellow S Typer.

Glad to see that you took the plunge and chose a Jaguar as a new make.

I have never looked into the lowering options, but if you move forward on it definetly post pics.

Enjoy all the site has to offer!

Welcome Misael. Have a look around the forum, there is "stancing" going on.

Welcome to the forum,

There are a few members with lowered S Types, I'm sure they will advise you on the options.
