It’s a 2001 Jaguar s-type 3.0. I posted in the General tech forum. I have looked through all the pics and info I could find here, as well as some Lincoln LS 3.0 pages. I have found a lot of info on removing the intake manifold and the breather line that runs underneath it. I haven’t been able to find any ID or part number for the line in my post. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer

Welcome to the Forums.

Being a 2001, I reckon its that stupid 90deg hose in the bottom of the "V" is causing you grief.

Both mine did that.

Lots of fun in your future to fix that sucker.

Is that the one that requires the removal of the manifold? If so, I don’t think that’s it, but maybe I’ll take another look around. The line that I can see that is shattered is the one coming off the back of the TB/intake manifold area.

Welcome to the forums Markusbarkus,

I've removed your duplicate post from General Tech Help as the one is S-Type is in the right place. You've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to amend these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
