I thought I had posted an intro already, but apparently not, so:
I live in the deep south of Canada, across the river from Detroit. Hot summers, shitty winters...freeze thaw, freeze, thaw. Not a lot of snow...usually, and when we do get some, it turns to slush pretty quickly.
Just bought a 97 XK8 coupe, and named her Pandora, for reasons that are becoming more and more appropriate as I dig into the project.
I had a pretty good idea of what I was getting into, and the price made it worth the time and expense to bring her up to snuff, so here I am, asking questions and maybe even providing some answers of my own as things progress.
I know you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
