Default nub from florida

hello every one. glad to finally get rolling in a jag based group. As I mentioned i live in florida, never thought i would live some place where it is to HOT to drive with the top down at times. I have an '02 xk8 vert. This is the first jag I have owned. never really thought to much about brit cars before. I love this one though. I was mechanic for ford for ~15 years, been in electronics for another 15.....I love high performance, so it is only time before I start tinkering with her. If anyone has any ideas what to start with in this area please drop me a note. do's and don'ts will all be considered.

Welcome to the forum Lee, a good place to start would be the XK8 sections.

Welcome to the forum Lee,

Sounds like you have exactly the right background to keep your car in line.

Hey Lee, how's it going? Take a look at my Album pics, to get an idera, where to start. I like the stock stereo, so I did not change that.

Lee,
Being in Galveston Texas I can definitely feel for you on the "too hot to put the top down" thing - but driving down the beach in the evening with the top down is absolutely priceless...

Lee, welcome to the forum. Best of luck with your XK8 rag top. A-1 on what Scott said about evening driving. Enjoy your Jag and your time here.

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
