Cool Numerous electronic fault messages.

Hi Everyone, I am a new owner of a 2005 s type 2.5 sport. Previously driven Rover/MGs for the past 10 years. The Jag drives really well but I have a number of electronic issues. Neither the front of rear parking sensors work, cruise control not available, abs fault, traction control light on and dcs not available. Having read through the threads can all of these be linked to a poor battery or is there some dealer underlying issue?

Welcome to the forums Richard,

I would definitely eliminate a partially discharged or failing battery as the first possible cause before looking for more obscure (and expensive) possibilities.

It sounds like you have already found the relevant model forum but if not, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to change these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
