Hi everyone, I sent a post regarding my 2001 XK8 and its periodic shutdown. Anyhow, I've been a jaguar lover for the past 18 years and have owned about 35 on them ranging from multiples of the following, Series III, XJ40's, XJ8's Vanden Plas's, XJR's and XK8's. I made myself a promise when I purchased my first Jag that I'd learn how to work on them otherwise I wouldn't own one. I've done everything from Timing chain upgrades to head gaskets, compression issues, transmission installs, throttle body installs, cup holder repair, reared installs and a bunch of electrical issues. Never-the-less, I'm still a Jag lover…… I don't claim to know everything, but, I know quite a bit. The post that i made has me somewhat at a loss and can surely use some support if anyone has experienced this periodic dying issues. Looking forward to any response. Thanks….

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
