Thumbs up Peter

Hi, my name is Peter Cooper, I am on my 7th Jaguar which is a 2007 XK coupe and may I say the most fun of all of them, it always brings a smile to my face when I hear it start up, I just love the sound of a V8. My first Jaguar was a 1988 XJ40 Sovreign I than had a 1989 XJs V12, that would pass anything but a petrol station. My next venture was a 1989 XJ40 (TWR XJR) the one with the Lego body kit, as I matured, I became more sensible and went on to a 3.2 X300, followed by a pair of x350s all of which were smooth, comfortable and in the case of the diesel X350 quite economical. But my current XK is for me a perfect Tourer although the boot is rather small, but that just means that we carry less clutter when we go away. On a run I can get between 30 and 33mpg although around town it drops to about 16ish, but as I only cover around 5k miles a year, it doesn't break the bank. I would recommend this car to anyone who likes a drivers car.
