Default Re-assemble old Jag project

I have recently started to put the pieces of my 140 back together. Pictures taken of all the bits and need a plan.
Car was purchased in Wisconsin around 1961. I am the second owner since then. Drove it until 1963 when I drove it low on coolant. Cracked the original block which I still have. Engine has been rebuilt with replacement block. Valves also new but every other parts are original.
It has less than 49k miles on the dial. This is accurate. Body is basically rust free. Been stored inside it's whole life. Sitting on jack stands for the last 20 years.
I'll answer any questions and need any advice. And before anyone asks, it's not for sale and I have plenty of reasons why It's sat so long.
Thanks for reading, wish me luck.
Gerry

Engine and boot lid insides are the original color RED.

48,374 Accurate Mileage.

All the leather in good condition.

Welcome to the forums Gerry,

Good to have you with us. The protracted pace of repairs will be frustrating for you but consolation is it's been rising nicely in value sat on those stands. The two owner provenance with unbroken sixty year history is an absolute dream. Few examples will match that.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk120-xk140-xk150-60/ to the XK120 / XK140 / XK150 forum for help, advice and information. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums and good luck with the project.

Graham
