Re introducing myself from Cary NC
Hi y'all. I haven't been on this website much since I bought my 2003 X type back in 2014.
That car was very very good to me, I must say. It only had 43,000 miles on it when I bought it and it had 60,000 miles on it when I traded it in last night.
I'm a retired female so I don't do a lot of driving with an average of about 6,000 miles per year.
Boy do I hate buying cars from dealers. No matter what I do or how smart I think I am going in there I always feel like they got the better of me when I walk out.
Anywho, I am now the proud owner of a 2013 XF and she's a beauty!
Has 35,000 miles and looks and feels like new in metallic grey with grey interior.
My question is about the turbo. It's a 4 cyl. with lots of pick up but the turbo makes it kind of buck when I even slightly step on the gas.
Is that something I have to get used to or is there a way to fix that?
Anything else I should know about this car, any known issues I should be aware of?
Appreciate any advice in advance! Now I can't wait to get out and drive!
