Default Saying hello from Germany

Hi everybody,

I came across this forums the other day when I had my cat for about half a year. But obviously I had never introduced myself. Shame on me ;-)

I bought my cat in March 2014 after a visit to an oldtimer dealer in Düsseldorf (Classic Remise). There I came across a shining black MK X from 1963 which was slightly out of my budget. But I screened forums to evaluate what to look for and ended up in buying a 2001 XJ8 4.0L Sovereign in (of course) shining black and Cashmere/Sable trim inside.

I also started working with Mongoose and JLR130 but can still be regarded just an intermediate. In 2015 a couple of friends and me started the Cpt. Jag 's Jaguar-Hilfe in order to share our experience with other enthusiastics and have a common conversation platform as all our members are quite scattered across Germany.

I love to do as many things as possible on the car on my own and collect information and material to share it with others.

Finally there's a picture of my "Baghira"

Cheers
Andre

Welcome to the forum Andre,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I expect you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link Europe - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome.

And a Black one, good choice, as Elinor already said.
