Sunshine state...
New to the forum, but I have had the car since summer 13. It's a 91 xjs convertible (classic collection). Black with black top and a tan interior. About 80k miles now but less when I got it. Completely stock but I can't promise it will stay that way. I LOVE this car. Bought to quench my regret for selling an Alfa Spider a few years ago, but this is way better than the Alfa. I'll be sorting as I go. This car was ignored for a decade. Pirellis were 12 years old when I got it. Runs great and gets lots of looks!

Starke Florida, eh? One of the most famous "speed trap" town in the state!
I used to travel through Starke on my way to Jacksonville and the AAA had signs on the roadside before you go to the city limits about the "speed trap ahead."
As a resident there, do you think it is about safety as the police say, or revenue as most of us think?
Also, years ago I restored a 1976 and 1978 International Scout, great vehicles!
Welcome and watch your six, lol!

I want a Scout too, but can't justify the accumulation of vehicles. All IH trucks are commercial grade solid and live long. Around Starke, it's just as lustworthy as the Jag!
Yes, the nearby Waldo police department was disbanded due to their predatory ticket writing. They just sold all of their 5 police cars to another jurisdiction for $38,000.
Scouts are great vehicles! There is one on the side of the road near me that has been sitting there for month or so looking forlorn. It can't follow me home though, my extra garage space is reserved for something red with a horse on the front!
