Hello Jaguar Forums!

On November 1, my first jag, a 2010 XKR convertible arrived, shipped up from San Francisco to the front of my building in Seattle, 1 block from the Space Needle. Winter in Seattle isn't the best time of year to purchase a convertible, but I've had a good time with some fresh air on even sub-freezing nights with the heat blasting and the lid off. Local insurance company Pemco, who runs a series of ads depicting pacific-northwest types, nailed me perfecting with this profile.

After lurking on the forums, I realize that the polite thing is to introduce myself. I've attached a photo of me bundled up in Naomi.

Although when I was your age a top for a convertible was an optional extra and not a standard fit!
It looks superb. Enjoy it.

Welcome aboard--the car's a beaut. Should be able to get a decent amount of top-down weather in Seattle during the summer months.

Welcome to the site. Since I'm in Minnesota, I do the same thing in my XK8, top down, heated seats and heater blasting

We are expecting temps in the 70s all week. The top on my 08 XK is coming down as soon as I get off work (two hours and counting).
