Default UK '06 S Type 4.2 Sport - Newbie

Hi all, have just collected my "new" car and am relearning the controls since my last S Type was a brand new diesel back in '07. That one was bought in Germany from a dealer desperate to rid himself of the RHD white elephant ordered for a customer who disappeared. I was able to assist by clearing a space in his Cologne showroom and getting a new car for second hand money.

This time round I've gone big with an astonishingly clean V8 Sport that has every possible factory option except the sun roof. I live in Wales and can see no reason to let the train into my lovely car.

My only wish I'd to upgrade the infotainment head unit to 2023 standards. Looking forward to sharing progress with the forum and thanks to admins for the hard work needed to keep something like this alive.

Hello, Andy,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
I'm not a fan of Sunroofs either. I've not seen a single one that doesn't leak after a couple years.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
