Hi.
New to Jaguar having been a BMW M-Division devotee for years. Now they gone away from real engines I've lost interest but discovered a bonkers 64 plate F-type coupe R. What a car!
I was in a BMW forum that used to have 'hoons' and meets. Any other F-types out there fancy meeting up in the south? Maybe Goodwood breakfast club etc?
Whilst online - would like to have a road trip in the spring to Sud-de-France but would like to take my road cycle. Anyone got any ideas about how the F-type ski carrier is attached as I'm sure I can get something fabricated for my bike and attach it to whatever the ski-carrier is attached to.

Hi Andy
Like you, I am from England (south) and have signed up to the F-Type forum today.
I'm at my other home in the Bahamas for the next several months, dodging the hurricanes.
I'll try to spot you on this board when I get back to the UK. My wife and I fancied a trip to SOF, like you. Alternatively, I thought a trip to Germany, where I can make good use of the autobahns, would be worthwhile, too!
What part of the south are you in? We are in East Dorset, near Ringwood. Good luck and regards. Peter.

Default Thanks - & bike rack

Thanks for your welcome guys.
Cassini - I'm on the Hampshire/Sussex border but close enough to hook up for some fun.
Look me up when you are back and we can definitely go for a hoon!
If anyone has any ideas on the bike rack solution requested earlier in thread, it would be appreciated.

Sounds like a plan. Will do.
I saw a posting on one of the Jaguar forums, may have been this one, showing a bike rack attached to a coupe with suction pads. If I come across it, I'll pass it on.

You are welcome, Andy.

Found this one, too, which may be a little more radical! Entails replacing rear window with a fibreglass panel with slots cut into it. I think the suction cup solution sounds better. No driving too fast, though!

Default cycle rack.

Seen that one Cassini. I've also seen one that's made in the USA and looks like a regular rear mounted rack but there a few too many straps for me - looks a bit Heath Robinson. However the genuine Jag ski carrier bolts on underneath and I'm sure I could fabricate something but just can find the underside fixing points. My local Jag dealer has never fitted one a simply doesn't know.
I like the suction cup idea though.
