Default Westward Ho! My 03 Stype is just about on the transport heading west

It's been a process getting to this point; the dealer (in Providence, R.I., is waiting for the transport carrier to arrive this p.m. to load my newly acquired 2003 Stype on the transport truck for it's journey to Oregon! I should 'behold' it in a few days. I will not rest at ease until I see it and confirm that it is the well-cared for car that the dealer has assured me that it is. An extended warranty gives assurance, as well. Tons of pictures (up close ones) are helpful, but seeing it and, of course, driving it, will hopefully set my heart and mind at ease. That's the plan! It's the beautiful topaz metallic with the light ivory interior. I held out for the V-6, premium package and other options that are somewhat hard to find. I'll get some of my own pics when I get it in my driveway here in Salem, Oregon. Westward Ho on the Oregon Trail!I'm so excited.....to say the least!

Best of luck to you with it and hope it arrives to you as you've envisioned.

I've purchased several cars sight unseen. It always makes me nervous until that moment I see it. I've always flown to it and drove it back for a couple of maybe obvious reasons and, touch wood, I've not ever been disappointed.

Default Empathy helps,,,,thanks

Steve, thanks for your kind thoughts. I will just deal with whatever arrives, I am way over the waterfall at this point! I don't expect a new car for well under 10K! He says its pristine,,,we will see! Have a good one.

If only we knew the route, we'd have members volunteer to follow the driver, wait till he pulled over for a fuel stop, and slap a jaguarforums.com bumper sticker on it.

Good luck with the wait, I find a few drinks in the evening will make the falling sleeping easier.

Welcome to the site. Here's to hoping the car is exactly as it appears.
