Smile where do i start ?

Hi all.
Just bought an x type 2.0 ltr petrol and so far so good. It has impeccable history and looks loved but after reading various threads on the forum I felt it wise to purchase a workshop manual and an OBD 2 reader but so far not needed. Its on a 53 plate and has only covered 45k, but has worn much better better than me. It definitely needs a stereo upgrade as its got
the cassette player fitted. I'm looking for a simple fit with no cannibalising so it can be put back to standard if needed. Leather care? I've got a bottle of cleaner but need to know how to remove small scratches / rub marks, is there a grey paint or Polish that I should apply?. For now its a joy to drive although my right foot needs to lose some weight. Have enjoyed reading all the threads and lots of tips that make a nice car very affordable.

Jaguars always give their drivers heavy feet! That's just the way it is!

I actually know a woman who said the other day in all seriousness, "Well that's a real good reason not to have one!" as a mutual friend was relating his adventure on an On-Ramp with the company's XJ-S.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
