X type manifold removal /upper & lover manifold gasket replacement
Hi guys. I知 glad to join this site. Have always been gaining information from you all. I知 excited to start working on my car. Thought that I want to start repairing problems myself. So the first is dealing with oil leaks. I知 gonna slowly replace slot of things.PCV VALVE, MANIFOLD GASKETS, SPARK PLUG BOSS SEALS, KNOCK SENSOR, THROTTLE BODY SENSOR, and other components as I go along. I have learned a lot by watching videos. So I知 gonna take my time. Can any one recommend where I can buy genuine and after market parts for my x type. I知 determined to get it up to scratch. It痴 a very sentimental car and I want to keep it forever. any advise is grateful.
kind regards,
saj

Welcome to the Forums.
You are in London. I use SNG Barratt, and never had an issue.
BUT
Any of the Sponsors of this site will help.
Might pay to add the engine size etc of your beast to your Sig, it helps get the good answers first up.
Good luck.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to amend these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
