Default XJR fittings

Is there a thread or sticky concerning how to disconnect the various and arcane electrical and coolant fittings on a 99 XJR? I would swear there was a contest to see how many different fittings could be placed in one engine compartment.

Thanks in advance,
Gerry

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome. What an incredible wealth of information.

I'm no mechanical neophyte, but the last time I rebuilt an engine completely, I could stand inside the engine compartment.

I intend to replace most of the peripherals that die of old age and use; and every hose. Looks daunting.

Gerry
