Wink Xk jag 2006 battery gies dead

HI
My name is Reet and I have had a convertible jag for over 3 years and love it, but have a problem.
Hopefully someone can help. I have a 2006 XK and every so often the car just will not start the next day. I have had it looked at by the garage and cannot see anything wrong. Then I charge it and it's ok for many months and does it again even after long run. Someone said that the security system has its own battery and it might be that which is darining the battery but don't know where that is or if that is right as he has had it happen to his Mercedes. Any thoughts love to know as driving me mad.

Welcome aboard.

The 2006 is smack on the model change.

XK8 section if its the steel body car
XK section, if its the Aluminium body car.

The people in there will have the answers for that hiccup.

Good luck.

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I know you've already posted this issue in the X150 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
