Yet another new member... prospective owner
Hi, all...
Looks like there's a constant stream of new forum members; I'll do my best to NOT replicate their questions.
I'm considering a low-mile 2011-2013 XKR or XKR-S for commuting and cruising. Style, handling, and power are prerequisites, and I need someone else to eat that first chunk of depreciation for me.
Shopping against GT-R, M3, 911, AMG C63, etc. Again, late-models with <12k miles.
I currently own a blown '09 Challenger and '09 Viper ACR for "fun" cars. I track both of them, the Challenger at the drags and the ACR at the road course. Life is good.
Thanks in advance for any input you can provide on your personal experiences with your late-model Jaguar. I'm trying to get a sense of reliability for the 2011-2013 XKRs; Jag has an iffy quality reputation that I hope is undeserved by the new models.

Welcome! After riding in the jag I find the GTR and Porsche to be a little light on creature comforts. Maybe I'd like the Panamera? But I'm more into style than power. That said I love the sound of a V8 engine! (That challenger must be a blast.) I have always thought of the XK/R as the muscle car of the European market, so give it some thought!
Edit: the M6 is its only real competition, IMO.

Thanks for the warm welcome...
I spent a good part of last night staring at the XKR-S in FRBlue. Whoa.
