Default Yet Another Newbie

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum as of a week or so ago. Everyone has already been a great help in assisting me in my decision of my new Jag.

I live in Edmond, Oklahoma and picked up my first Jag 2 days ago, a new 2011 XF SC. It was over 50% more than I was looking at spending for a new car when I started looking but I must say it's worth it every time I step out into the garage and see that baby sitting there or, better yet, when I punch that start button and it growls as the engine comes to life! Awesome!

Welcome to the forum, yeah, Jags can creep up and bite you like that. Have fun with your XF.

Welcome to the forum,

Are you making extra trips to the garage?

hi there hack, my neighbor to the north! Norri sees all, he knows all. Honestly, how many times in any given day do you go out to the garage just to look at, or sit in the car? We all do it, trust me.

Whew, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who thinks of any reason in the world to go out in the garage and gaze at this wonder of automotive engineering... "Honey, I'm going out to the garage to check for, uh, crickets!"

Just don't get caught running your hands over her curves in admiration alone in the garage, that could insight one of two things, humiliation and the butt of future jokes (the extent of which would only be determined by just how long you were observed, how 'gently' you were doing it, and if you were mumbling anything at the same time) from your family, or jealousy from your wife. Im pretty sure the latter would be worse.
