McLaren 650S Spider - 3 Years as a Daily Driver
#1

Having posted up a few articles here on several of the Jags we have owned. Thought it would be interesting to share an article we just did on using a McLaren 650S Spider as a daily driver for the last 3 years. McLaren 650S Spider Daily Driver

Love to read it, especially if it has been hospitable as a daily driver. How many miles? What kind of service issues, etc.?

As someone for whom a twelfth-hand Jag is the height of my aspiration, I love that there are people in this world that can write: ‘all of the above are now standard requests on any new McLaren we order.’

Thanks, and I guess that is a bit arrogant.

I learned a long time time ago that their is always someone with more and bigger toys.

That's beyond the truth. I have a friend who has recently had great business success and bought himself a Huracan Peformante as a gift to himself. He said the first supercar meet he was a part of let him drooling over two Paganis.

Its even worse when you get into boats and planes....

we just did a major security update on karenable.com. The new secure url is: https://karenable.com Please use this as a lot of the older links no longer work.

You can buy a decent preowned Hayabusa or ZZR1400 for as little as £3000 here.
I'll read your article now.

That's a good read SSO, it's nice to know how that thing flies from the pilots pov. Your preparation prior to driving reminded me of the demo drive I had in a TVR Cerebra lightweight v8 sport but that was most definitely not a daily "beater".
But that was a fast car and the great news is that TVR as a car manufacturer is about to be resurrected.
I love the black bodywork but I hate any grey interior. I've had one too many of the mass produced tin boxes with grey interiors.

It's nice to know that there are people that actually use their cars.

Much appreciated. We have a family rule, if a car doesn't get regular use, it gets sold.

You're my hero! So,anything wacky and new planned for the future?
I don't know if you care for the cars, but the Lamborghini people were the nicest we've met in the car industry. We were at the factory in Sant'Agata last year.
We went to Pagani and Ferrari, too. The Pagani folks were very nice, too. Ferrari was the opposite. I've nothing good to say about them.
