XJ13 - the most beautiful car ever made
I agree with you but Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis might not:

It nearly killed him at MIRA on 20th January 1971.

That was rather careless, wasn't it?

In a way it was fortunate it happened in the relatively safe surroundings of MIRA with the no obstacles on the trackside. Had it gone to Le Mans as planned and done the same thing, the roadside on the Mulsanne straight is far less forgiving.

All is not lost as they did rebuild the XJ13 - enjoy a little glimpse of her in action - while the driver is limited to 5000 RPM, the growl is music to the ears!

I have to agree with the OP, this really is the most beautiful car of all time. I once made a calendar of the XJ13 using screen shots from Grand Turismo 5. This had the advantage of being able to respray it a different colour each month. But it looks best in British Racing Green of course.
It would look better in my garage! Seriously, that paint should be called "British Racing Emerald". Just beautiful!
