Default The other toy in my garage

I just picked up the XK on Friday so I haven't had time to shoot it yet but, I have another toy in the garage that makes for a good subject

Sweet, looks like one heck of a garage you have dug out.

Thanks. It took a few months to dig lol

That last shot was taken at Gillman Tunnel in Central New Mexico. They used it for a few shots the film 3:10 to Yuma

Damn that's beautiful! I've always wanted a Ducati. I bought a blue 1998 Yamaha R1 when the R1 first came out but always wanted a Ducati. I haven't ridden since 2002 but would love to get back in the saddle some day.

Thank you. I've owned quite a few japanese bikes in the past. The R1 was great back then and still is today - the crossplane crank makes it sound like a cross between a twin and I4. It's very cool imho

The big twin is so much fun to ride though. I bought this one new off the showroom floor back in 08 and I love riding it as much today as I did back then. I was actually about to pull the trigger on a new 1199 Panigale but as luck would have it, I ended up with an XK in the garage instead

Thanks. The first shot was actually my first attempt at HDR, the tunnel shot is just shot with a bounce flash with a few minor adjustments in PS.
