Default Some work I've done for school

We had to show examples of the elements and principles of design in my Fundamentals of Design class (which I ended up dropping, but the two are unrelated). These were all taken locally, all within a half-hour drive of my house.

From right to left: movement, rhythm, shape, hue, and scale.

I would very much dislike an assignment like that, so many interpretations. You did pretty well on most of them. rhythm looks more like a pattern to me, but maybe that's what you were trying to convey. I'm suprised you couldn't find any examples of 'shape' outside. Reminds me of a last minute entry i would attempt...lol

How did you score?

There's a lot of interpretations, but that's what made it fun. And thank you! Rhythm is really more like rhythm in music, it's a repeating something, but kinda different from a pattern. And she was looking for shape, not form. Form has depth, while shape doesn't.

I didn't get graded on it, because I ended up dropping the class before I could turn it in.

This is so funny! I'm taking a break from my Design Theory class and came across your post - that was my homework last week!
