Default 1989 XJS Engine parts for sale

Hi,

I'm taking apart my 1988 v12 xjs engine.

Im keeping the bare block, 4 rods and pistons, and the heads. All the other parts are for sale.

The engine had 58k miles until a head was cracked. After that its been sitting around for the last 2 years out of the car.

Like I said, I am keeping the block, 4 rods and pistons, and the one good head. The rest of the engine and miscellaneous parts are up for sale.

Honestly, I just dont want to have the parts sitting around my garage and would rather see them go to someone who can use them instead of throwing them out.

I'll accept just about any offer on any part as long as you're willing to pay the shipping or pick it up in buffalo,NY.

The engine was running even with the cracked head before it was taken out so I assume all the parts i have are in good order, but as with any used car parts, they are being sold as is.

(there may be a little surface rust on some parts but most of the engine has no rust at all.)

If interested shoot me an email at akoudlai@fordham.edu or text/call me at

(845) 494 five four three zero

spelled out my number to avoid spam calls.

Is anyone interested in any parts?

I will take any half-reasonable offer since I'm just going to take everything that's left to the scrap yard.

the air boxes are gone and the

and tbs? throttle body?

As far as the intake manifold goes, just give me an offer you think is fair. I can also send or post pics of it if you want. I assume you want both of them. Shipping might be a tad expensive since they are large and heavy. Probably around $45 If I had to guess... maybe less.

looks like they are about $125 a piece plus shipping on ebay. but make me an offer and I'll probably take it. I'm not here to make as much as possible off the parts.. Just get them out of the garage quickly and put some change in my pocket.

are you here to give your parts away? just sell them for a fair price based on condition and/or rarity. There is no rule you have to give them away. If someone does not want to pay your price, they can keep wasting their time looking for a cheaper price.

I pmed you and sent an email, figure I'll cover this base as well. I could use a back up distributor for my 89 xj-s, If yours is a Lucas I would like to purchase it. I'm currently in the middle of rebuilding mine and and spare parts would be nice.

the distributor is gone sorry,

I do still have the fuel injectors attached to the fuel rail and intake manifold. They should be good since the engine had a bad valve/head and no other known problems. may need a cleaning after sitting for a while but that should be super easy.

let me know if still insterested.

And bump for the thread... any others interested in parts, post, pm, email, or call me. thanks

Andrew
