Due to financial difficulties, I'm taking my 2008 Super V8 to CarMax to see what they can offer me. Anybody in the Chicagoland area interested in a Super V8?

In 2008, only 300 Super V8's were manufactured, of which, only 118 were imported into the US and Canada.

Great opportunity to get a rare car.

 

I am curious on what Car Max will take...I always wanted a Super V8 ...if only someone wants to buy my xk8 :-)

 

Dealerships I've worked with in the past use NADA. If you want an estimate, check NADA trade in value.

 

I will provide CarMax offer as soon as I get it.

I want to detail the trunk and engine bay before taking it to CarMax.

 

CarMax didn't even meet the NADA rough-trade in price of $12050.00. My Super V8 easily qualifies as a "Clean Trade-In" by NADA definition. Clean Trade-In is $16,575.

If anybody is looking for a Super V8 I got one for sale. I am firm at $14,500 and that is because I think a respray of the bumper covers should be done. The front has road rash while the back has a patch of clear coat lifting.

 

Thanks for the info, I am always curious how bad carmax would try to make money off you....always wanted a super v8 , but can't have both xk8 and Super v8 :-(
