For Sale: 2002, X-type 3.0, 57k miles, dark blue
Hello and thanks for visiting! I am trying to sell my 02' X-Type. It is the 3.0 model, with almost 58k miles on it. Still considered low mileage.
The only things wrong with it currently are purely cosmetic. 1.) my gas door broke off this winter, so it doesn't have the door that closes over the gas cap. and 2.) the passenger side side mirror needs to be replaced (JUST the mirror only)..
I am the second owner, 25 years old and always did timely oil changes and regular maintenance. I bought it used back in 2008. (1st owner was a school teacher). The car has not given me any major problems whatsoever. when I first bought it, I was still in college, and walked pretty much everywhere and used this mostly on the highway. It handles the CO mountains and snow very well. Would be a great used car for someone young. 02' Jaguar, AWD, under 60k miles for 6500 bucks.
If someone here is interested, that would be great. Although I am not expecting much. I love internet forums, they have helped me make the right decision on many things, especially automobiles. I figured I would reach out the Jag community here and get everyone's input. But I am really just trying to see how much I should ask for it. 3.0 X-Types with this low of mileage are somewhat hard to find. I have seen them anywhere from 9-11 grand, but I know that is too high. I am asking 6500 but do you think that is too low? The car does not have any vibrations inside the cabin, or any major defects. Just the gas door and passenger side mirror.
I am looking to get a truck or SUV, which is why I am selling.

after looking at a couple hundred X's....your 6500 seems right around what that year/milage are going for....list it on ebay with a high reserve and see what you're offered.
I was thinking about an 02 60000 on craigslist in NYC with nav for 6500...it did not sell and they would not budge on price....i ended up getting an 04 sport 3.0 102000 for $6200
