Still looking for a nice sub 60k mile(lower the better) XJ. Any leads to a purchase appreciated with a bottle of bubbly(unless you lead me to your car in which case you buy the bubbly!).

Bugger. I've seen a couple R's that had the beige insides...maybe later years. Cannot use all black in FL unfortunately.

Still in the market after a coiple of slugs and Missing Tim's by 12 hours...! A super v8 is not out of the question either and I'm leaning towards an L model for old parents access.

Have no info on them except to say that their web site always has a number of Jags available. They get their inventory from off lease auctions. The thing about these auctions is that Jag dealers get "first dibbs" so the low milage examples are mostly found on dealer lots.

Before the recent econimic hard times, you could find a lot of low milage off lease Jags at auctions. Now the dealers snap them up because they see reduced demand for new Jags and increased demand for used Jags.

Seems to be the case-our dealer has 4-5 now and it is a relatively small market here.

When I was looking for my Jag a few years back - it appeared that S. Fla dealers were several thousand higher than those north of a line from Tampa to Melbourne. I don't know if that still holds true. I'm talking like $5K higher on a $30K vehicle.

Be aware also of the "dealer add on fees". This is an added fee dealers now tack on to the advertised and/or negotiated price of new and used cars.. It can vary from $500 to something less than $2000.

Yeah, we're in Vero but I see some non Jag dealers advertising in S FL among the lowest of dealers anywhere. Tough to schlepp down there only to be disappointed in 'not as advertised'.

And the worst offenders for ADP, added dealer profit are motorcycles dealers. Often an 800-1100 add on for a bike that's 5000-9000..!
