FS[SouthWest]: X Type Phone module 2W93-19K350-AC
I have a used, in good condition, a phone (PSE) module for X Types (many) from 2001 to 2009. The Jaguar part #2W93-19K350-AC or manufacturer part #JT4P2K3835 is compatible with many of the X, S and some XJ models types. Please cross-reference your own sources to insure proper fit. I cannot guarantee fit.
Price is $99 plus shipping.
Also open to trading for a VACM part #XR849645 or 2R8F-114B292-BD.

To all; The device is from a 2005 vehicle and supports just a single phone at a time. More than one phone can be paired, but only one at a time can be used and any subsequent phones have to be re-paired.
Price is reduced to $50 plus shipping because there is a newer unit that you can get to pair up to 5 phones. Typically it sells on the second hand market for about $150. Either unit is very simple to install and there are threads for both. Essentially plug and play except for the mic. If you want more information, feel free to PM me.

It has been some time since I investigated retro fitting bluetooth into the car.
To successfully add bluetooth capability, would I need the bluetooth module and a microphone on top of this phone module?
Either way I am interested. Are you in Atlanta proper or the 'burbs?

I was referring to MEC skipping over me as the next buyer and jumping to you. But, being you already have the other equipment and just a failed tele module, I wouldn't be upset if you were to get it. I will still need to piece my system together, as I am sure I won't have the bluetooth module if I don't have the phone module.
Cheers,

Hi again;
A short time ago someone had a module, harness and blu tooth assembly forsale. Since you are starting from scratch, it may be a better way to go, as you may not have the complete harness (needs additional plug ins ).
Checkout the older classifieds or perhaps e-bay. Good luck , I'm sure it will be an adventure.
Regards
Rick.

My car will have everything I need, minus the modules, as it is a Premium with Navi. All looms and connections should be in place. Actually, I should probably look to see if any modules are there, but I couldn't imaging the bluetooth being there if the phone module is not.
Stealthes,
For the record, I did not skip over you. As I mentioned to you in my PM yesterday, another party asked to buy the product straight up via PM.
Hopefully that clears up any confusion.
Regardless, if you are looking to pair multiple phones, the PSE is not the route to go. The newer Bluetooth Phone module is integrated and requires and antenna and mic to work. Easier to install, but a bit more expensive. I found mine on line for $155. Then found the updated mic for $44 and the antenna from China for less than $10. So for about $210, it is complete. The mic hookup is not as easy as some have indicated. In my XJ it took a bit of wire tapping to make it work. Once I found out which pins were correct, it took no time at all and works VERY well (this coming from people on the other end of the discussion as well).
Let me know if you need any other information. Happy to assist.
