XJS 5 Speed
HI everyone. I'm looking to buy a 5 speed XJS. I'm only interested in original (no mods), clean, well maintained cars with documented ownership and service history. Please contact me if you've got one for sale.
Thanks,
Barry

In addition to checking the forums, I would sign up for alerts on Bring a Trailer and Ebay. They pop up on there occasionally. A 1993 5-speed with 78K miles just went for $13K on BAT yesterday.

I'm just speculating, but I'm betting a 1993 with that mileage and that condition would not have sold for more than $8k if had been an automatic transmission. However, after reading about the cost and the effort to do a successful auto to manual conversion, I'd say a $5k premium for a stock 5-speed is not unreasonable if that's what someone wants.
I came a cross a '94 5-speed XJS not long ago and the seller was asking about $20K for a car that would probably be worth $8k as an auto. It would have been cheaper to find a very nice automatic and pay to have it converted.
