Default STR Torque Converter P0741

I had the sleeve connector replaced about a month ago. The transmission works flawlessly with the exception of throwing this fault code when climbing a hill at low rpm in fifth or sixth gear with a slight depression of the accelerator.

Do I need a new torque converter? Where is the best/cheapest place to get a new torque converter or even better a quality rebuild?

Should I be looking at something else besides a tc replacement? It would appear that others have had this problem and what was the solution.

I am aware of TSB 307-15 faulty lining TC specific to 03 STR

I am aware of P0741 TCC stuck open

I'd think either S307-04 v2 or S303-13 v3

Neither look good.

I have searched to no avail to discover what the above TSB contain. Appreciate a link or any other form of information...

Theres info from zf that this can also be fixed with a new software update and adaptations cleared to the trans, along with the gearload faults. Jaguar wants this done first before any parts replacements

Attached are some bulletins that explain some ground work to do before condemning the torque converter. I'd bet that's where you'll end up though.

Here is a link to a post where we covered the issue pretty well.

Sorry for the delay - I was out.
I goofed, too
The first does not apply to an STR (or any redesign car 2003-on).
Also, I meant S307-13 not S303-13. It's the one that does call for a new TC and is:
