Start by expecting it is NOT working right then follow threads explaining how to test/fix.

Yup, DCCV is bad. Might as well replace the coolant reservoir if you haven't yet also.

Yup, do as Michael says... and soon before the failed DCCV takes out the Climate Control Module....

Again, you will understand that as soon as you do the heavy reading on this very common issue.

I just fixed exactly the same problem on 05 STR,had hot air on drivers side and cold on passenger's, at first changed DCCV and the problem still remained. So after some readings on forum I took out RCCM,open it and found that 1 trace was burned so I went to electronic's repair shop and they fixed it. Cost? Just $15

Another common problem is a broken wire in the loom leading to the DCCV, which is behind the front bumper. Follow the testing guide for the DCCV, if it shows valves are ok but control module is not switching, it may be the wire which is a cheep fix. That's what was found on mine a couple of months ago.
Good luck.

Hey! Good repair to that RCCM. That's the first picture I have seen of an actual repair on this module. Much more common to repair the CCM which comes with cars that don't have naviagation.
