Not much help. I was hoping for more detailed information on how to access and what all needs to be removed. I would think it is a common task for various repairs and maintenance and there would be additional info.
Use the search function on this forum as the subject has probably been discuss previously.
Looking at the Workshop Manual, it does show quite clearly the routing of the serpentine belt. You will need to remove the air duct from the MAF to the throttle body, then use a 3/8-inch breaker bar to relax the belt tensioner. It's best to mount the belt around all the pulleys with the water pump being last, then release the tensioner.

I have the 4.2 so no real hands on help for the 4.0 except this....get a serpentine belt tensioner wrench/tool....I got one from AutoZone and it made the job extremely easy. The working space is cramped and the tool slides in perfectly
Very easy job.
Once you have the tensioner released by turning with a long spanner (diagram below) the slack will allow you to remove the belt.
I would photograph belts before if you're not confident to make sure you put back properly.

I knew it sounded too simple based on what I was looking at in front of me. I was able to access the tensioner and loosen the belt after removing the air equipment above it. Unfortunately the belt will not slip through behind the tensioner pulley. The only way I can figure I can get it out and install the new one is to loosen the tensioner itself. This bolt is in a very tight spot account what looks like 2 coolant lines and the ratchet interfering with the fan. I will have to mess with it again tomorrow when I have more light.
Is this a supercharged vehicle because if not you should be able to remove the belt after releasing it off of the tensioner...I am trying to picture your dilemma in my head...the belt should pull towards the radiator and slip off....nevermind I am wrong and I understand your dilemma...when I did mine I turned the belt upright and see sawed it back and forth for removal and install...I was replacing a coolant hose so I also had the plastic radiator tank off and that gave extra room .you might have to remove the tank .I also remember putting the new belt on by keeping the tensioner fully released with my wrench and then sliding it by the pulley as the first step before installing on any of the other pulleys...hope this helps some

I have same car and engine. I use a long 1/2inch drive bar (22") and put a reducer on it to make it 3/8" which is what goes in the tension pulley slot. With your hand on the bar, move the tension pulley to slack the belt. While holding the bar, slip the belt off the top pulley and the entire belt is now loose and you can replace it in reverse order. Easy job.
