Someone may have a solution out here for this but I have a 2002 S-type R (it was regular and then previous owner added a supercharger) but I'd like to add an ipod/iphone connection that goes directly through the sound system and not through the radio (poor quality)...I know about the ACM with the following year's s-type but just wanted to see if anyone knew of a solution for a 2002....

I'm not sure the distinction between Sound System and Radio, but ...

I'm going to replace the Stereo and Nav with an aftermarket Kenwood, you can follow my progress at:

But if its only music you're interested in, then just google "Jaguar S-Type Ipod Interface".

I believe most of them replace the CD Changer input from that to your Ipod.
